Journal of Historical and Archaeological Research is a Bulgarian science periodical focusing on history, archaeology and their auxiliary sciences. The Journal was created and it is financed by an Editorial committee. It receives the support of the University of Shumen “Bishop Konstantin Preslavski”. Its editorial board includes reputable scholars from Bulgaria and abroad. All submitted materials are double peer reviewed by authoritative scholars before being published.
The editors of the Journal of Historical and Archaeological Research are primarily interested in publishing original research papers exploring the history and the archaeology of the Bulgarian lands and the South-eastern Europe region. There are no limitations to the chronological scope of the contributions and the methodology used.
